Our Guidance Program
The job of the school counselor is to implement Missouri Model Guidance Lessons. In addition, they also act as a liaison between parents and the Special School District, assist with community support systems and aid students in the development of their academic, social and emotional development. Counselors also conduct small groups, as well as individual counseling with students. Developing parental support strategies is also an integral role the counselor plays in the school district.
