New Substitute Teacher Application Process

The Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE) has recently revised their application process for substitute teaching next school year (2010-2011).
The new application process, is completely on-line and begins July 15, 2010. You MUST have an email address and access to a computer.
To start the process, begin below:
1. L1 captures your fingerprints. Call for an appointment @ 866-522-7067
(If you applied to and subbed for Bayless last school year, and your fingerprints are within one year of this application, you might be grandfathered in to the District. Please follow the process below and give me a call once you have applied on-line as outlined below).
2. Applicant applies for substitute certificate on-line @ http://dese.mo.gov
3. Mail original transcripts to
DESE
P.O. Box 480
Jefferson City, Missouri, 65102
(Write Educator ID and SUB CERT on envelope)
You can check on your application and as soon as it has been approved, please call me, Kathy Hake, at 314-256-8605 and I will provide additional paperwork to get you on our list.
